A lot of avatars don't seem to take advantage of flying. I believe it is better to hit down to land. You can then use up and down keys. Also there are the arrow buttons near the fly key. You need to hold down the down key to land well as it says in the video. I probably do it automatically.

It makes it easier I think to use the F key instead of the fly key. That works as well. Hit it again to come down and then the down key. You will get the hang of it.

I watched other social people and then followed their lead but used my own flow & rhythm. I started picking up little tactics here and there for how to create small talk with people. Also, I smiled a lot. Furthermore, I did things I normally don't do and talked to people I normally wouldn't talk too. When people talk to me I'm completely friendly without being reserved; this makes them comfortable.

I'll give you an example situation. I walk up to the register in Marshalls. The woman behind the counter asks "Would you like to save 10% on this purchase?". I wittingly replied "That means I would have to get a card huh?" smiling while saying that. She replied yes and I said "Naahhh, I wouldn't come back enough to make use of it" once again smiling the whole time. She began smiling....at the end of the transaction she wished me a good day....not in the everyday traditional fashion but rather with some emphasis. She said it that way because she cared, she doesn't know me very well but she now knows me better than most the strangers that will come to her register.

In another instance I simply walked up to the owner of a sub establishment I was eating at and told him "You know you guys make great subs" and that alone opened the lines of communication.

I was buying something from Jamba Juice one day and because of my upbeat happy attitude when i was done paying and standing in line, a girl just began talking to me out of the blue and we had a short conversation.

This is what it means to be social. Wherever you go you can easily make a temporary friend or a pseudo friend. This not only enriches the lives of the people around you but it enriches your life also because it makes your days worthwhile. You never know who you can meet and when another person smiles at you during the day it will make you happy.

I started my first job when I was 16. I really wanted a car, and that was the reason I started saving. It was very hard for me to keep from spending the money, but if you put the money in a place that's not easy for you to access, it's a lot easier. I put the money in a savings account. I also kept in mind that I would always be tempted when the money I wasn't saving was all spent, so I tried to slow down my spending so I wouldn't run out of money before my next paycheck. I saved $800 to get my first car. (I got a good deal on an older car that a neighbor was selling). Now I'm old and I save money for my college classes. I don't put it in a savings account though, because now that I have more expenses I am even more tempted to spend it. I keep it in a sealed envelope, with "Do Not Spend, School is more important!" written on it. Then I put the envelope in the bottom of the drawer where I won't have to see it often.

After narrowing it down to 3 breeds that would match my personality and living arrangements, I went to pet shops to look at them and play with them to make sure I liked my breed selection. Then I went to shelters but didn’t find it a pure breed. I looked on the newspaper classifieds for breeders, found the least expensive one and called them. I wanted a girl and went to pick her up the next day, but 5 min before I arrived someone had adopted the 2 girls. I almost leave but decided to take a look a the boys. The breeder brought the puppies in a basket and they looked like 3 stuffed animals. I couldn’t leave without one. I picked the smallest and most energetic one. I love him and give him dog gourmet treats. He is my stubborn, funny, happy, loving, kind, spoiled, smart, beautiful Maltese.

I even think of what to write to people.

But I never get around to actually writing the cards, which is horrible because there are so many wonderful people in my life.

Of course, some people give me gifts, which I need to thank physically. Others are just nice or friendly or kind, which deserves thanks as well. In my situation it is only myself and sometimes I might bring a guy friend, so I don't have to worry about kids or anything. I live in Florida and our big attraction is Orlando which has all the theme parks, since I am so close to it, I normally go on weekends or something. But when I decide to go on vacation I always want to go somewhere new. I really like cruising because I can see different ports in a short amount of days. I don't like flying too much but I will if I have to. Right now I am thinking about going to Las Vegas. I like big cities and to do big things. I really don't know whether Coke, Pepsi and other soda can causes cancer or not but one thing which is certain is the fact that it is not good for health and your teeth can rot if you drink too much of the stuff. Not only that I also read in the news that pests, lizards and insects are all occasionally found in its bottles. That really grosses me out and makes me aware about the dangers which are associated with Coke and all other cold drinks no matter how much they may try to endorse its safety it is quite sure that it is not good for health.

Moreover, in the long run I do feel that Coke might even be a reason for inducing cancer in humans so to be on the safer side I would definitely advise trashing the can and stop drinking such drinks. But I am teen and do indulge in these cold drinks once or twice in a month. Also recently, they have hiked prices for the half litre per bottle by two pesos in Philippines. So I really have to limit drinking Coke considering that it has now got more expensive.

I am writing to you all for suggestions on good books to read. I LOVE to get sucked into a great story and right now I feel lost without having one at home calling to me. I tend to lean towards historical fictions with or without fantastical twists. The last few books that I have fallen in love with are: The Outlander (and the series that comes after) by Diana Gabeldon, The Lord of the Rings by JRR Tolkien, The Mists of Avalon (and the series) by Marion Zimmer-Bradley, Harry Potter, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. I also enjoyed the Twilight series, though the second book was WAY too depressing for me in my personal circumstances right now.

So I like good books that are not inappropriate, but they can have a little spice of course, with strong and deep characters in somewhat realistic settings.

What started as something to reconnect her with relatives has seemed to turn into an addiction for my mom. As I write this, it's 2:37am where I live and she's still awake. She's addicted to Facebook games, especially the farm-type ones. I mean, it's alright that she's over 50 and having fun with computers, and I'm glad that she's got something better to do than playing BINGO which costs money.

The help I need isn't how to get her to stop playing these games. My brother just moved out and soon he'll be taking his computer with him. The said computer is what my mother uses for playing. So... she wants a new computer. I also need a desktop since mine broke a year and a half ago.

On her part, she'll probably only be using the computer for facebook. On the other hand, I use the computer as a media center, and I could have up to 10-20 tabs open each on 2-3 windows if I'm really busy with something.

Should I get her a good-enough-for-just-facebook cheap netbook or contribute to her budget and get a better desktop wherein I could set up a server or something and she could still use it while playing her facebook games? i can still read far letters, and i am happy for it..

i hope i can't be like you this coming years.. that's why i am trying my very best
to eat a nutritious food like vegetables, particularly squash..
i love squash so much, maybe it really helps me that's why they are still working and very ok..

and i don't usually stare to the television or even in front of the computer,
and i make sure that if ever i do more time in front of the computer,
